About me
I'm not ashamed to say that I'm obsessed with jewellery and I love making it! So, after dabbling with silversmithing at college some ten years ago I began to build up my workshop at home. Scilly Silver was created through my absolute love of the beautiful Isles of Scilly which has inspired most of my jewellery designs. I've collected shells and other trinkets since I was a nipper - the shells used in my designs have all been hand picked from various beaches on the Islands and cast into solid metal. I always wanted to preserve the beautiful shells I'd collected into something other 'shell hunters' could wear and treasure forever. Being an active gig rower I also wanted to incorporate this hobby into my designs, hence the creation of the gig oar range. |
